Conditions Necessary for a Virtual Existence
"Conditions Necessary for a Virtual Existence" is a meeting space between work and living. The installation features a 5-hour video call between the artist and "Ice Land" during an artist residency in Iceland (SIM). In front of the monitor a common desk fan shifts some mat-grass jammed into a circle of volcanic rocks. The work is a humourous but dry response to COVID 19, capitalism and vicarious experience.
